Our after Christmas sale will start on the 29th of December and finish when we have no Christmas items left. Hi Everyone, we received our Cornish Heritage Farm order with some wonderful Thomas Kincade stamps. They are amazing with the new ultra fine glitter. A fast, easy and elegant Christmas Card.

We also should have our new Cuttlebug Christmas order in tomorrow or early next week.

I am waiting for my Christmas Magnolia Stamps as well. They have the sweetest Snowmen with the new 2009 Christmas ones.

Hi Everyone, I have just received my ultrafine glitter. I sold out at the Creative Festival and had to put another order in. I am offering workshops on it in November. The workshop is called

"Ultra Fine Glitter and Stickers, Oh My!" The class is on Saturday November 14th and again on Friday November 20th. We will be using a Thomas Kincade stamp, as well as lots of fun stickers.

Also for those of you waiting for my Shimmer Red cardstock, it is in.

Check out the Calendar on the 21st of November we are doing 2 wonderful classes. One is the Tilda Christmas Card (which was originally scheduled on the 14th of November).

The other is a beautiful little Christmas starbook book. Make one of these delightful books - fill them with pictures or sentiments. Use Spellbinders Nestibilities Dies and Swarovski crystals to create a special handmade Christmas gift.

Sorry that should be in the glitter samples below. I will get better at this (I hope).

Hi Everyone, well we made it through the Creative Festival and are just about finished unpacking. Thank goodness it only happens once a year!

We have our new Enchanted Hollow Christmas stamps in as well as the new Sunshine Design ones. Getting ready for Krista's visit next weekend. Her classes are almost all full, just a few spots left. Here is one of the new Enchanted Hollow designs and a card that will be done in Krista's Watercolour class.

We have a wonderful new glitter coming in next week. Everyone knows

how much I love glitter!!! You can never have too much sparkle in your life. I sold out of this glitter at the Creative Festival show and expect more in next Wednesday. I will be offering a class in it in November.

For those of you who like Thomas Kincade stamps and found them difficult to work with, come see the beautiful (and easy) card sample using this glitter.

Hi, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Joy and I are heading to Toronto for the Creative Festival on Thursday October the 15th. The show starts on Friday and goes until Sunday the 18th. It is downtown in the Convention Center. The store will be closed on Monday October 19th, so we can unpack and get things back on the shelf.
The store will be in the open as usual Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Hi, here are a few of the new Magnolia stamps that have arrived in the store.

I love the new "Gloria the Hippo". For those of you who were waiting for the Elephant stamp, I got that in as well.

I just recieved my Cornish Heritage farm stamps and there are two sets of Christmas message and a beautiful stamp on "What Cancer Cannot do".

Hi, just recieved the new Zing Embossing powders and I really like them. They have a smooth finish and a nice high gloss. Some of the colours seem to have a touch of gold in them .

Recieved an order from Outlines and I have the Jewel Christmas tree stamp as well as thier new Jewel Pumpkin, Jewel Snowflake and Jewel Angel Stamps. Here is a sample of a card made with the Jewel Christmas Tree. Those are Swarovski Crystals on the tree.

Should get my Magnolia order this week as well as more stamps from Impression Obsession.

Krista's Classes October 29th to November 2nd, 2009

Come and join in the fun at Heather’s Stamping Haven for fun and fabulous Christmas projects!
1. All-Day Watercolour: We’ll be making 12 fabulous Christmas card projects and of course doing lots and lots of watercolouring. All-new Christmas images from Stamp Barn, Sunshine Designs and Heather’s Stamping Haven will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit! You’ll be receiving full instructions and colour guides for each card (great resource tools for future projects, since they are full of colour combination ideas, mounting techiniques and tons of other little tips and ideas!) as well as lots of personal attention and guidance from Krista. You’ll also get three paintbrushes and a water tray, and as a bonus each student will also receive a special gift of Christmas-y goodies.
2. Christmas Rush (fast and easy card projects): This 2 hour class will feature a mitten-full of quick and simple Christmas cards, tags, money-holders and other paper goodies. We’ll use lots of new (and some old) Christmas images and some simple folds and attachments to make these beautiful projects. No one will ever suspect just how little time these took to create. Of course, full instructions will be provided for each project and each student will also receive a very lovely tin to hold all of their projects, along with a surprise gift.
3. Advent Calendar: We’ll use lots of inks, stamps, cardstock and tons of creativity to put together a very unique and fun Advent Calendar in this 2 hour class. Along with instructions for this project, each student will also receive a special gift bag of Christmas goodies to go along with their calendar.
4. Christmas Ornament: Who doesn’t love to decorate for the holidays? We’ll be using various techniques and products to make our very own Christmas ornaments in this 2 hour class. Each student will also leave with a kit full of some very festive home décor projects.

I also received some Holly Berry house stamps and I have them in cling. First time in cling for them and I think they will be very popular.

The 12 x 12 glitter cardstock is back in the store. Beautiful Christmas Colours!

The Magnolia stamps have been shipped and we will be getting them soon. So for those of you who wanted the Elephant and the African Sun they will be in this order. Also I have ordered a sweet little hippo name Gloria. I will let you know when they arrive.

Impression Obsession are offering their stamps in cling as well. Here are two new ones that sold out almost immediately, but I have more on order.

I have received the new Cuttlebug folders and here is one of my favorites.

It's called Ornamental Iron.

Michael Strong stamps have also arrived and he has a great set of word stamps as well as his new mini cloisonnee containers (vases). The Christmas tree has been very popular.

A) Make and Takes --In keeping with our previous years celebrations we will be having make and takes as a fund raiser for Victims of Violence. Keep your eye on the website as the make and takes will be posted on our August schedule as well as the times. You must register for all Make and Takes. The charge will be $8.00 per Make and Take and the money will be donated to Victims of Violence "It shouldn't hurt to be a child". Many thanks to all of you as we raised $2500.00 last year!
B) Win a Basket of Stamping Goodies There will also be a draw held on Monday August 31st for a fabulous gift basket full of stamping goodies and all proceeds from the sale of the tickets will also go to Victims of Violence "It shouldn't hurt to be a child".

Hi there, more rain this morning and I'm beginning to wonder if we need to dial 1-800-NOAH!

Just to let you know we have a few new things in the store this week.

We have a new 130 lb cardstock that works beautifully for those of you who love the Copic Markers.

We also received the new Polar White Flower Soft and it has a little diamond sparkle in it so it will be beautiful for Snowmen, Polar Bears and Snow...Oh My! We also received the new Autumn mix great for leaves and trees.

The new Glue Glider Pro is in, as well as the replacement cartridges for those of you who don't like double sided tape. The fun thing about this is you can easily snap out the cartridge if you want to use one of the other ones. There are four different Cartridges
Perma Tac -- High Tac -- Repositionable -- and Squares.


Still waiting for my Quickutz and Magnolia Stamps. Will let you know when they arrive.

Hi and welcome to my blog...yes that's right I have arrived, kicking and screaming into the "blogging" world. I am going to be using this blog to tell you when new and exciting products have arrived in the store. I will also be uploading some card samples and letting you know about events that are happening. I am very new to this so you will need to have patience...lots and lots of patience!!!



All the new Spellbinder Pendants and Borders have arrived and I have made a few samples cards to show you.



The one below is from the "Fleur De Lis" die. and anyone who knows me knows how much I like glitter, so I have used glitter on this, but it's much prettier "in person".

The one below is done with the "In Spades" die.

There are new Spellbinder dies coming in September I believe. I have already put in my order and if anyone wants anything in particular please e-mail me and I will reserve it for you.

I am expecting an order of embossing folders and die cuts from Quickutz at the end of the month. They have some different designs and they also work well in the Cuttlebug.

The new Cuttlebug folders have been ordered and arrive in August and there will be more new ones in September or October.

Magnolia Stamps

I am now carrying Magnolia Stamps from Sweden. They are very sweet and fun to work with. The card sample that is shown below has been done by Esther House, one of my very talented customers. Thanks Esther!
