Hi Everyone, I guess winter has arrived!!!

I am thinking ahead to Valentines Day and used one of Cheery Lynn Dies.
On the left is the whole die and then next to that is the front of the card that I used a piece of the die and then on the right of that, is the inside of the card that I used another piece of the die. Very versatile!

And here we have some new Tim Holtz Dies that just arrrive
as well.

Hi Everyone, Karen is teaching an amazing class on Saturday the 14 of January. She will show you how to make this wondeful Desk Calendar. It is a 5 hour class and the times are listed below.

Part One: 10:00am - 12:30 pm
Part Two: 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Start the new year with some stamping and make a lovely, one-of-a-kind desk calendar for 2012 in this two-part workshop. In the morning you will learn to watercolour with markers using Krista Schneider's popular technique. You'll create a mini work of art for each month using the wonderful variety of seasonal and floral images from Heather's Stamping Haven and Sunshine Designs. In the afternoon we will stamp and assemble each month's page and bind our calendars. You will receive full instructions to take home, including a colouring reference chart and full supply list.

Hi Again, I forgot (good memory, but short) to show you one of the cards I made with the Sizzix Letterpress Plates. I love them...here I have used chalk inks and it looks like the design is right in the cardstock, not on top. I wish you could see how it works with my Velvet Paper because it is stunning! Unfortunately it doesn't scan very well, so drop in and take a look.

I also got in the stunning Swan Die. I have made two cards with it...the white and black one uses the whole die and the white and blue ones uses the outside of the die and a new Angel Stencil.

Hi Everyone, I just got in some Tim Holtz Glassine Paper and made this quick card. The House was my Grandparents and it was torn down some years ago. I wanted to print on the Glassine to see how it turned out and I love the old fashioned look it gives. Lots of other fun things you can do with it as well. I have the sheets and the ATC envelopes and the Tag envelopes.

I also got in Tim Holtz Kraft Resist Paper Stash and the Crowded Attic pads.

We have two great classes on Saturday. Mary is teaching "From Me to You" at

10:00 to 1:00 pm and is using both Outlines and Hero Art stamps
Beautiful Cards Mary!

Tanya is teaching this sweet class using "2 Cute" stamps and Copic Markers from 2:00-4:00pm. Please check the calendar on my website to see what markers you need to bring with you.

Hi Everyone, I have all of Krista's samples in the store now, so come in and see them "live". Also please let me know as soon as possible if you need me to put away any Copic Markers for you.

The Copic markers are $6.99 each for the Sketch but when I stamp your frequent shopper card it works out to $6.51 each. I don't think there is a better price in town for them.

I also have the new Cuttlebug folders in the store. We have some die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs and they are quite different. There are Doily dies as well as some fun frames. I have just finished a sample with one of them.

OK Everyone, I know I was on holidays but you didn't have to save the snow storm (Toronto) for me when I got home on Sunday....Richard and I had a great time. Very relaxing...walked on the beach...swam...read....wonderful!

I went swimming and took some pictures of the turtles swimming with me, very exciting to see them in their natural environment.

Also a friend down the beach took a picture of the sting ray

swimming a few yards from shore, glad I wasn't in the water at that time!

Quick & Easy Collage Cards

Collage art has widespread appeal to stampers and mixed media artists for the creative opportunities possible with putting together different images and materials. While collages are lots of fun to do, sometimes you want the quick and easy approach -- collage stamps to the rescue! Happy New Year Everyone! Hope it was a healthy and happy holiday season and we are looking forward to 2011.
We just received the new SEWeasy Stich Piercer and the different Piercing Heads, as well as the different colours of embroidery floss. There are a lot of videos on You Tube if you are not sure what this product does.
Also in, is what will be our last order from Amuse Art Stamps. They are no longer wholesaling so we can't order from them anymore.
I am hoping to get our January schedule up this week...I know it's a little late, but I think I am still in holiday mode. We have some great new classes coming up towards the end of the month.

I wanted to correct some misinformation that I gave you. Amuse Art Stamps are not closing but they are no longer selling wholesale to stores. Their email was not very clear. So you would have to go on line and get them to ship to you or visit their store in the US. I have a last order coming in and when it is gone...it is gone! Sorry for any confusion (I was confused obviously!).

Hi, the Pointsettia dies have arrived. Also have the SewEasy on order and it is supposed to be in before Christmas...no promises though! Hi Everyone, I have the new Tim Holtz Vagabond (1 left) and I will be happy to take orders if anyone would like me to get one for them.

I have 3 more coming in next week.

The Pointsettia Die will be in by the end of next week for those of you that want them. I know it's late but it is such a classic die that I ordered it anyway. If I have any left over it will not be going on sale.

Also our mall is having a Christmas Tree Contest. 10 stores in the mall are decorating small artificial trees. I decided that I didn't want to buy any decorations, that I wanted to make them myself (in my spare time). So I have used all sorts of dies, my favorite Santa stamp and of course "glitter". You can vote on the tree you like best and the store with the most votes will win a $500.00 donation to the charity of thier choice. You can vote in the store, or at the mall's web site www.greenbankhuntclubcentre.com . You can vote as many times as you like.

So if you are around come a see our tree with our handmade decorations...if I ever finish it!

Hi Everyone, the Flourish Trees are here. Both the Medium one and the small one and they look beautiful with....(surprise)....Glitter! The medium one is 3 dimentional and the small one just sits on a stand. I thought the small ones would make beautiful place cards for your Christmas table.

Hi Everyone, we have some new embossing folders from Crafts too! I think these are just gorgeous, and very versatile as well.

We also have some new stamp sets from Tim Holtz and are waiting for a shipment of the new embossing folders from Basic Grey. The folder set is called Diamond/Snowcaps and the Die set is from Tim Holtz and call Townscapes.

Hi Everyone, well I am drowning in Boxes!!! The cards on the right come from a new company (new for us) called Heartfelt Creations. They have wonderful stamp sets like the Cardinals with matching die sets. The cards on this blog come from their gallery. They also have flower stamps that match the Spellbinder Dies...Peony...Dahlia...and Blossom 2. I will put some other samples up when I get a chance to make them.

We also received our classic Santa Stamp. I ordered 60 and 39 have been reserved, so if you want one give me a call. The Cuttlebug Winter Wonderland set has also arrived.

I also got in some stunning new shimmer cardstock colours. Come in and take a look.
